Bead Work

I’ve been experimenting with beads since 2021, although my initial fascination started long before that.

When I was a child I would often join my mum on her card stall at craft fairs, where I met several jewellery-makers whose work I would admire and try on. One of these wonderful makers began giving me beads to experiment with, and I passed the time behind my mum’s stall threading beads into necklaces and bracelets.

I rekindled this love for beading as an adult, and found it a remarkable way to connect with my childhood self.

These are some of the pieces I have made since that time.
